The fabric everyone wears and knows but how much do we really know about it?
A little bit of history: California Gold Rush, Levi Strauss imports denim from France to make trousers that wouldn’t tear so easily for the miners. Those trousers would later become the Blue Jeans we know today. Later on designers started using tha fabric for a more “Haute” use of it.
Specifications and care: I think since everyone owns a pair of jeans, you will know that after a few washes color will fade especially from the parts which receive the most stress which usually means upper thighs and knees. if you don’t want them to bleach and want to preserve the colour, here are a few tips that might help.
- I do advice following the care methods on the back of the jeans
- Wash them inside out in WARM water
- Don’t wash them after every wear, they tend to bleach faster
- Hang them to dry!
